Job Description: 

Progressive Produce, LLC is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager or Sales Professional to join its headquarters in La Mirada, CA. Progressive Produce is a subsidiary of Ireland-based Total Produce and operates as a year-round grower/packer/distributor of fresh produce. The company grows and supplies potatoes, onions, asparagus, citrus and other fruits and vegetables to the retail and food service trade.

Requirements: 
  • Knowledge and experience in retail produce sales and marketing REQUIRED with food service produce sales experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively and respectfully in the office and be a self-starter.
  • Travel as often as needed to achieve goals.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Effectively interact with all levels within the organization.

Company Locations: Commerce, CA; City of Industry, CA; Edison, CA 3rd party growing operations in Mexico and Peru.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Proactively contribute to help the Company achieve goals in line with the overall strategic plan.
  • Take the lead to help grow the Company’s produce sales and create strong customer partnerships.
  • Continuously develop new business opportunities to represent grower partners in selling their products to our customer base.
  • Project a collaborative and partnership-building strategy with all sales and other office staff.
  • Effectively interact with the warehouse team members to promote an efficient operation.
  • Effectively represent Company for all interactions with customers.
  • Perform other projects and assignments as required by Senior Executives.
