From humble beginnings in the Northwest, Amerifresh has grown into one of the largest produce marketing companies in the country.
Our Branch Manager will be responsible for a sales office, including the hiring of produce sales staff, sales assistants, and inspectors for the Salinas office. The manger will develop grower and supplier relationships and grow customer sales and results in all business segments.

Qualifications:
- BA/ BS degree in Business or Agri-Business.
- Have current business relationships in Food Service, Retail or Wholesale environments and ability to expand into new markets.
- Lead an experienced team of up to 15 associates in Salinas.
- Energetic, aggressive, outgoing professional attitude/personality.
- Knowledgeable in the fresh produce industry.
- Experience with planning and delivering sales budgets required.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with MS Office products.
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy to monitor business processes.
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
- Must be sales focused and have a proven record of achieving sales growth and demonstrate the ability to work and succeed in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to relocate to the Salinas area.
- Exceptional planning, management and leadership skills.
- Understanding of PACA regulations, procedures and dispute resolution.
- Familiarity with federal, state and local employment laws and requirements.
- Previous marketer, shipper, or broker sales experience is required.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test.
