We are currently accepting applications for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our team in Salinas, CA.
The Product Marketing Specialist provides support to both our Food Service and Retail Sales and Marketing Teams, and our external Sales and Broker teams. This position also works closely with other internal departments including Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Internal Sales, and all levels of management.
- Work closely with field sales team to support their needs
- Review and route contracts
- Fulfill customer requests – specifications, surveys, clarifications, sustainability, etc
- Create and deliver presentations
- Coordination and liaison between field sales and customers
- Item management – packaging, procurement, forecasting
- Communicate with plant on product needs
- Assistance with new product launches
- Forecasting
- Marketing collateral, sell sheets
- Reviewing and communicating pricing, P & L, promotions
- Assisting with tracking and entering deductions
- Other trade marketing program assistance
- Syndicated data reports – market share, key accounts, competition
- Support needs for presentations and reports
- Daily use of internal project management, ERP and data systems
- KissFlow used to route numerous approval processes
- JD Edwards used for research and data entry
- PowerBI used for reporting and analysis
- Degree: BS/BA and 5+ years of applicable experience
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
