Due to rapid growth and our commitment to providing an excellent customer experience, we are looking to add another exceptional Search Consultant to our team. Because of the strength of our existing sales team and pipeline of business, the focus of the Search Consultant is leading searches and direct recruiting. There is little to no need for this person to bring in orders. Instead, we need this person to be very effective in identifying engaging and attracting passive candidates that meet our high standards while providing impeccable and responsive service to our client companies.

This position has two parts: The Search Lead/client-side and Talent Sourcing/candidate-side. Both roles may be handled by one person, or they can be handled separately by two people. Ideally, we look for someone who will excel in both areas.
Service existing and new Accounts/Clients providing an experience that is both timely and exceptional in terms of service and communications. The Search Lead is responsible for the overall relationship between the Client and the Joe Produce Team. The Search Lead is the Client’s liaison and advocate throughout the search process and also in the latter stages during the interview, offer and hiring stages.
Source, engage, manage and develop relationships with candidates. This role is the “Hunter” and requires tenacity, resourcefulness, organization, creativity and confidence. The Talent Sourcer needs to identify and connect with qualified candidates, developing mutually beneficial and long-lasting relationships that focus on the desires of the individual in order to help them get to the next step in their career. This includes screening, interviewing, qualifying and referencing. The Talent Sourcer uses the Applicant Tracking System to document all activity and findings in a clear and concise manner.
- At least 3 years of experience in executive search and/or direct hire recruiting
- Expert in sourcing and engaging candidates directly over the phone and in person
- Excellent verbal communication and phone skills-Cannot be afraid to make cold calls every day!
- Excellent written communication - able to create presentations, write job descriptions and ads, and communicate professionally over email
- Ability to counsel and in
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Technically savvy with Microsoft Office and databases
- A team player who works well with others
- Experience or knowledge in fresh produce or agriculture industry a plus!
