We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to specialize in the sales of Latin Specialty and general produce primarily into traditionally Latin markets (Central and South America). This position will be a great fit for someone who is highly self-motivated in developing new business.
Fresh produce is a fast-moving and complex environment, so the best candidates will have experience in the industry, preferably with specialty fruits, and the ability to make smart, quick decisions and deliver stellar service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, goal driven, and truly passionate salesperson who enjoys working with produce and the entire sales process from start to finish.

- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers
- Identify potential new customers
- Work closely with other members of the Sales department and senior management
- Seek to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets
- Provide sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele
- Successfully promote a customer-focused work ethic in tune with the company’s core values and principles
- Sales tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- A college degree preferred
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends
- Excellent communication skills
- High-energy and passionate about accomplishing sales goals
- Enthusiastic approach to problem solving
- Excellent selling skills and an ability to adapt to different customer types
