We now have a tremendous opportunity for a Sales Manager/Dispatcher to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

Reporting directly to the Transportation General Manager, The Sales Manager/Dispatcher will communicate all activities regarding the business on a regular basis. Manage all transportation and logistical requirements of our customers and drivers. Provide leadership for the functions of assigning drivers to routes, keeping track of their progress, and maintaining open and honest communication with our customers. Ensure drivers have all the pertinent information related to their runs and that they carry out their assignments timely and professionally. Remain calm and courteous in all situations. Communicate effectively and as often as needed to perform the duties required. Actively call on new and existing customers to seek ways to increase the Company’s revenue and profitability. Maintain and grow relationships with customers. Be able to multi-task various objectives at all times. The nature of our business requires a certain amount of flexibility outside of normal business hours to answer calls and respond to requests due to the requirements of our drivers (vendors) and customers.

The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Be well organized – paperwork, desktop, etc.
  • Follow instructions from Supervisor.
  • Communicate well with co-workers.
  • Be familiar with DOT regulations as needed.
  • Be a self starter.
  • High School diploma required. Additional education considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) required.
