Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Grow produce sales year over year
  • Achieve Progressive’s annual Strategic Plan, Goals, and Budget for Gross Margin Dollars Create and manage strong customer partnerships/relationships
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for customers and commodities to drive sales Manage customer needs accordingly to maintain their loyalty to Progressive
  • Travel as needed to visit customers and solicit new business
  • Attend industry and customer-specific trade shows and events
  • Seek new business opportunities to represent other growers’ products and sell them to our customer base
  • Manage pricing and contracts for customers Embody Progressive’s Core Values and adhere to Progressive’s Core Processes

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Highly motivated / self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish) Able to partake and lead in video calls Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of commodity markets Excellent computer skills Effective organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through Able to manage multiple tasks
  • Able to work remotely without distractions Work effectively as a team and always respectful of others
  • Travel as needed (normally 5-20% of time) Able to communicate with all levels within the organization

Compensation, Benefits, and Other Information:

  • Salary commensurate with experience ranging from $65,000 – $120,000 annually
  • Full-time, in-person position (40 hours per week) and may include varying time on weekends to service customers
  • Medical, dental, vision, 401k plan including company match program, 15 days paid time off and 7 holidays per year
  • Reference checks and background screenings are required for all candidates
