The Role: Purpose & Vision

As our Sales Manager for Wholesale Accounts, Americas, you will play a key role in driving our wholesale trading growth. Reporting directly to the Sales Director (Americas), you will help connect our premium harvest with the market, ensuring our blueberries reach the right partners at the right price.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a wholesale strategy aligned with regional sales goals, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen the partner network needed to support long-term growth.
  • Lead with Market Insight: Monitor market dynamics to inform pricing, support accurate costing and forecasting, and deliver profitable results against ambitious targets.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate lasting relationships with wholesalers and partners while negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms that support mutual success.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with logistics, finance, marketing, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless order fulfillment and a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Optimize Inventory & Execution: Match inventory to wholesale opportunities, execute partner sales plans, and support the timely, profitable movement of fruit.
  • Maintain Operational Accuracy: Ensure transactions are completed efficiently and closed out accurately using approved business practices.
  • Represent the Brand: Be a strong ambassador for United Exports in every customer interaction, helping elevate the brand experience across the market.

What You Bring to the Table

Experience & Education:

  • 5+ years of experience selling fresh produce, berries a plus.
  • Proven experience in selling into wholesale accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field. It can be flexible if proven experience

Technical & Behavioral Skills:

  • The "Trader" Mindset: You are target-driven, resilient, and possess a structured approach to driving tasks to completion.
  • Analytical Sharpness: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems, with the ability to turn market data into actionable strategy.
  • Communication Pro: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a high degree of "e-mail etiquette" and the ability to manage complex customer expectations.
  • Strategic Thinking: A track record of planning and organizational excellence, paired with the leadership skills needed to manage diverse stakeholders.

Location: Remote/Hybrid (USA), constantly visiting customers/traveling
