Sales Representative

Don Hugo Produce is a wholesale produce distributor and related warehousing services provider located in Edinburg, Texas.  

We are seeking a motivated individual for sales and buyers to join our team here in Edinburg TX. The successful candidate will have good people skills, a strong work ethic, and a motivation to grow and develop a customer base.

Experienced candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of the fresh produce supply-chain, with preference given to those with an established customer base.  Salary is based upon experience and knowledge.  

Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Skills and Responsibilities

· Produce sales experience

· Ability to source and acquire produce nationally

· Develop strong relationships with shippers/suppliers and customers

· Attention to quality, detail and accuracy

· Ability to handle problems effectively and timely

. Coordinate logistics/transportation for purchases and sales as needed

· Must be able to develop new business as well as manage current accounts

· Knowledge and experience with PACA rules

· Written and verbal communication skills across all supply chain

· General understanding of receivables and deductions.
