Based in British Columbia, Global Fruit has been committed to delivering exceptional cherries since 2002. As growers, marketers, and exporters, we hold the largest market share of Canadian cherries from July through September. From October through March, we also supply premium cherries from Chile and Argentina to customers around the world.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Sales Representative to grow our North American sales business. You will represent Global Fruit with an established portfolio of direct retail customers while identifying and developing new retail partnerships.This role combines relationship management, business development, and hands-on sales execution. You will meet with buyers ahead of each season, secure seasonal sales programs, and manage the full sales process through daily customer engagement during the season.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing retail customers across North America.
• Identify and secure new retail accounts to drive business growth.
• Meet with buyers before the season to understand their needs and establish sales programs.
• Oversee day-to-day sales execution and customer communication throughout the season.
• Work closely with operations and commercial colleagues to align customer commitments with product availability.
• Achieve sales and business development targets.

Qualifications

• At least three years of account management experience.
• A proven track record of success in sales and business development.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with a team while working independently and taking ownership of results.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal business
• Fruit industry experience is an asset.
• Candidates with relevant experience in other fast-moving consumer goods sectors are also encouraged to apply.

Location and Work Eligibility

The role offers flexibility in location, with a requirement to spend the summer in Kelowna, British Columbia, working closely with our fruit, operations teams, and commercial colleagues. Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in Canada or the United States.
