Job description

We're looking for a driven, hungry, and ambitious Sales Manager / Account Manager to grow and manage our produce accounts across the East Coast. This is a hybrid role for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and expanding market share in a fast-moving, high-volume industry. If you're competitive, resourceful, and motivated by uncapped earning potential, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a book of business across grocery, wholesale, foodservice, and/or distribution accounts in the East Coast produce market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence
  • Manage existing client relationships, ensuring retention and account growth
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with buyers and vendors
  • Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and seasonal supply/demand in the produce industry
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Travel across the East Coast as needed to meet clients, visit accounts, and attend industry events
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development — produce, fresh food, or perishables industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter mentality with a hunger to win and grow
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular travel across the East Coast
  • Familiarity with produce industry logistics, seasonality, and pricing dynamics is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
