Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable/Front Desk Clerk to join our team in Salinas, CA. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
This position is responsible for processing and entering vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable system and assisting/directing people who come to the front desk.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Accounts Payable
- Coding Invoices
- Distributing Invoices for Approval
- A/P Data Entry
- Resolve Discrepancies on Invoices and Purchase Orders
- Completing Check Runs
- Maintain Accounts Payable Files
- W9’s and 1099’s for Vendors
- Reconcile Accounts Payable detail ledger with General Ledger
- Assisting/Directing people who come to the front desk
- Ordering office supplies
Qualifications:
- Accurate data entry and general math skills
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Initiative to identify and develop procedures to make Accounts Payable processes more efficient
- Capable of effectively communicating with vendors, customers, co-workers and employees
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
An associate degree or business college equivalent in accounting; or an equivalent combination of experience (5 years), and education that would provide the ability and knowledge required for the position. Bilingual in Spanish required.
