As we expand our footprint across Asia, we’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven Export Sales Manager – Asia Region to lead growth initiatives and strengthen our market presence in key Asian markets such as Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow blueberry exports across Asia.
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with importers, distributors, retailers, and foodservice partners.
- Coordinate with logistics and quality assurance teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with phytosanitary and import regulations.
- Conduct market research, monitor competitor activity, and provide insights on pricing and demand trends.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and B2B meetings across Asia.
- Collaborate with the U.S. head office on sales forecasting, promotional campaigns, and business development planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, agriculture, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in international sales or agricultural exports (fresh produce experience preferred).
- Proven track record in developing business within Asian and/or other international markets.
- Strong understanding of import/export logistics, trade documentation, and cold-chain management.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in an Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean) is highly advantageous.
- Self-motivated, culturally aware, and comfortable working across time zones.
