This position is permanently remote. A successful candidate must be able to legally work for a U.S. company and is preferred to reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, DC, MD, OR, TX, VA, WA. The position will require travel within the Americas 6-8 times per year.
Overview of role
EFI is seeking a Marketing & Sales Associate who is bilingual (Spanish/English) and can support a variety of marketing and sales outreach efforts with technical, communication and analytical skills. No day will look exactly the same and will involve handling multiple projects, so the right candidate will be a creative problem solver able to balance priorities. It is an ideal position for someone who seeks learning, growth and broadening responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Create a variety of marketing materials, including web pages, articles, newsletters, email campaigns, videos, Canva designs. Provide Spanish translation for materials when needed.
- Work with Marketing & Sales Manager to maintain lead lists in HubSpot, create landing pages, drip and trigger follow up email campaigns.
- Provide Spanish-language sales support by creating communication materials, responding to emails, participating in meetings and ensuring relationships progress. Act as EFI’s liaison to Latin American agricultural organizations.
- Maintain EFI website through updates, article postings and new content additions, coordinating with other project staff as necessary. Create Spanish translation for website.
- Lead analysis and create reports on specific campaigns, events and overall marketing goals using A/B testing results, email reports, Google Analytics and other online tools.
- Contribute to EFI’s social media presence, acting as channel champion for Twitter.
- Maintain and update a series of marketing tools and documents, such as the style guide, photo library, artwork approvals and trade media report.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of marketing, communication, sales or digital marketing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
- Strong analytical, organization and planning skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism or related field
- Knowledge of social media publishing, content marketing development and analytical tools (e.g., WordPress, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Canva)
- Experience with HubSpot, B2B marketing or sales lead nurturing a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work within an evolving and dynamic nonprofit or start-up environment
Salary and Benefits:
Total compensation for this position includes a salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 as well as the following benefits:
- Health and Dental Insurance: EFI will cover 80% of the employee premium and 60% of dependent premiums upon enrollment in a health plan provided through EFI’s membership in the TriNet benefits program.

- Long-term Disability: EFI will pay 70% of salary, to a maximum of $6,000/month.
- Sick leave: up to 12 paid days per year
- Vacation: 17 days paid vacation/year, rising to 23 days after 3 years of service.
- Holidays: all U.S federal holidays will be paid days off.
