We’re hiring for a full-time, year-round, Sales & Logistics Coordinator in our Hart, MI office. You would be supporting the Account and Supply Chain Manager with coordinating the shipment of our fresh produce. You would be working and learning in all areas of the growing, packing, and shipping processes. Some of these tasks would include: communicating with harvest & production supervisors, handling sales from some of our smaller accounts, and coordinating/scheduling inbound and outbound logistics. Our ideal candidate brings a friendly personality, strong communication skills, and a natural ability to multi-task and pivot throughout the day. The schedule would be in the office Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm with half days on Saturdays during harvest season. You would also need to be comfortable taking calls after hours from truck drivers, and customers who are typically starting their days earlier than 8am. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales, Marketing, & Logistics; reports to Account Manager.
  • Monitor, schedule, track logistics for all products (inbound & outbound).
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts.
  • Answer/direct phone calls and take detailed messages (when necessary).
  • Receive, process and input orders from customers.
  • Calculate, and properly allocate costs on orders within accounting software.
  • Provide customer with requested documentation, and excellent customer service.
  • Understand all operations within the office, and the packing operation.
  • Continually understand changes within the produce industry.
  • Report any food safety concerns to management immediately.
  • Manage company social media accounts.
  • Handle confidential information securely and appropriately.
Skills and Experience:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Agriculture preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems, be organized, and multi-task.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, Email Communication, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written & oral).
  • Work and communicate in a personable and professional manner.
  • Takes pride in doing a good job and doing the right thing.
  • Ability to work independently at times and contribute to a small team.
  • Work efficiently within a fast-paced & time-sensitive environment.
