Sales Coordinator

Status: Level 1 Hourly Non-Exempt

General Job Description: The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all daily sales functions, ensuring customer success and acting as a conduit between various departments within the company as they relate to general sales matters. The coordinator role requires a schedule spanning from 6:30am – 3:30pm as well as rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Please be aware that schedules may be subject to change based on business needs. All rotating weekend and holiday shifts will adhere to applicable overtime and double-time regulations.

Relationship to others within the Company:

• Reports directly to head of Sales
• Works alongside various departments within the company including but not limited to Accounting, Shipping, and Field.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

• Order Entry
• Effectively communicate with customers, providing timely updates.
• Logistics coordination
• Passings/Invoicing
• Data Entry
• Generate reports as needed utilizing Business Intelligence software
• Collections
  • Monitor customer payment terms (Aging)
  • Monitor claimed files to completion of settlement

Qualifications:

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; will be highly organized, detailoriented and 100% trustworthy and reliable
• Proficient across Microsoft and Google platforms as well as the company’s ERP, Famous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in ag business-related field, or experience in agriculture, marketing, or logistics

Compensation: This position will be compensated on an hourly basis. Employees are entitled to paid sick leave as required by California law. Vacation accrual, holiday pay, eligibility for various discretionary bonuses, and healthcare benefits will be provided in accordance with Company policy. Healthcare benefits include an option to participate in the Company’s health, dental and vision insurance plans as well as access to Cedar Wellness Clinics.
