Job Description:
WYCO Produce Inc., a leading sales and marketing company for International and Domestic growers of fresh fruit and produce commodities is rapidly growing and looking to add an experienced Sales Representative to the team in the Tampa Bay, FL area.

Requirements:

3+ years produce experience.

Bachelor’s degree (industry experience may commensurate).

Established Retail, Foodservice, Wholesale and Broker contacts.

Established book of business.
-
Ability to work with changing market factors.

Clear understanding of the fresh produce supply chain.
-
Excellent communication skills.
-
Ability to create a healthy gross profit each week.
-
Ability to travel to meet with existing and potential customers.
Responsibilities & Duties:
-
Create opportunities for sales with Retail, Foodservice, Wholesalers and Brokers.

Research and maintain daily awareness of national market trends.

Manage sales goals to ensure effectiveness of daily sales strategies.

Learn internal computer system to manage sales and inventory.

Adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.

Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of WYCO Produce Inc.

Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.

Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
