Fastik is a flexible packaging manufacturer. With over 20 years in business, Fastik offers industry leading technology with a specialty in our reseal lidding film products and compostable lidding films which the market has been asking for. We also make several types of bags including laminated pouch bags for produce with zipper or slider, We have significant capacity, and a complete in-house pre-press and plate making department, print up to 150 lines screen as needed.

We beat the “big” companies in developing these reseal lidding products and are now expanding our markets to California and across North America.

From our base in the Vancouver B.C. area, we are ready to grow, and invest in our expansion through out the US.

To that end, we are currently accepting resumes for the position of Business Development Manager.

Based out of your home office in the western US (preferably California, you will primarily be calling on Produce, Bakery and Snack Food companies to present our laminated and surface printed flexible packaging, reseal lidding technology and Produce handle bags.

Requirements: 
  • Self-motivation, a high level of integrity and a solid work ethic are required.
  • The successful candidate will possess a strong proficiency for computers including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • This position requires excellent prospecting, and people skills along with an ability to technical competence with our products.
  • 1 – 3 years sales experience in the produce, bakery, snack food or packaging industry, with a proven history of establishing and maintaining relationships preferably within the produce industry.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • The selected individual will be calling on present and new customers regularly, throughout the sales territory. Developing leads, booking and attending trials along with other technical help from the team. This is a business development position, more than a business maintenance opportunity.
  • Responsibilities include all aspects of technical sales and on-site application work.
  • Overnight travel will be required, and the quantity will be based upon where you are physically located.
Education: 
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Science, or comparable sales experience is strongly desired.
