Now, we're on the lookout for a talented and results-oriented sales professional to lead and manage our sales department exclusively for our green onions and wet vegetables program. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact and drive growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue, secure optimal market prices, and expand our customer base.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve departmental objectives and establish us as a dominant player in the industry.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights and continuously improve sales strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Training and Development: Train, support, coach, and mentor sales staff to enhance their performance and drive results.
  • Team Engagement: Foster a positive and collaborative team culture to inspire and motivate your team to achieve greatness.
  • Production Planning: Coordinate with our production partners to plan and schedule production, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality products to meet customer demand.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate customer demand and sales projections to growers and collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient product delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in the produce industry with 2+ years of team management experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of green onions and the produce market.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in sales with a track record of achieving targets and driving growth.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
