We are currently searching for a Sales Account Manager to join our team.
As sales account manager in our high-performance sales environment, you will be expected to handle our entire berry category to a broad base of existing and new accounts, including national and regional retail, wholesale, foodservice, and other channels. Both our growth rate, as well as the fast-paced and volatile nature of the berry business, requires a creative, agile, and tenacious problem solver who can thrive on a fresh berry sales floor. Working Relationships:
- Management - Reports to VP of Sales
- Outside Parties - Interacts with Buyers, Growers, Coolers, Carriers, and other Service Providers or Trading Partners
- Inside Parties – Works in collaboration with Management, Accounting, Sales, Supply, Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Operations
- Know Customers, Anticipate Needs
- Know your Product, as well as your Service Capabilities
- Manage Customer Expectations on Pricing and Availability
- Identify and Overcome Customer Objections
- New Business Development, Existing Business Cultivation
- Demand Forecasting, Budgeting
- Submit RFQ’s & Other Customer Pricing

- Cross-Selling, Short and Long Selling
- Program, Distribution, and Spot Market Sales
- Develop Sales for Range of Grades, Sizes, and Pack-Styles
- Order & Credit Memo Entry
- Book Transportation
- Fresh produce (or similar high velocity, multi-sku) sales experience highly preferred
- Wholesale manufacturing and agricultural supply-chain experienced preferred (farming, packing, cooling, etc.)
- Commodity management and/or prior retail buying experience a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sales & Marketing or Related Emphasis preferred. Consideration given to combined Education Experience, and Track Record
