As a sales representative, you will interact with different departments to fulfill the customer’s needs and preferences. You will help organize and aid with special sales and promotions and achieve monthly targets and target new business development.

The primary focus is on providing a service to customers, developing new business, building, and maintaining customer relationships and increasing sales of a given account base. The essential focus consists of providing great customer service and communication to potential clientele and will advise customers with appropriate product knowledge for their ordering needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain professional sales relationship with assigned existing customers.
  • Develop and establish new customers.
  • Perform Market updates to entire business on the competitive conditions, retail displays, pricing, and anything new in the marketplace affecting the customers in the region they service.
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule promotional volumes and prices, monitor sales to identify opportunities.
  • Takes responsibility for personal growth and training including customer and field visits to ensure improvement of technical skills and knowledge of our products and growing regions.
  • Accountable for accurate order entry (Including quantity, price, product, customer, ship to, delivery instructions and any special instructions) into our Famous system and monitor status of orders until confirmed, received and/or cancelled.
  • Responsible to respond to unexpected supply changes, both long and short, as a team player and to best achieve Best in Class Customer Service which optimizes grower returns.
  • Expected to participate in department meeting.
  • Responsible to cooperate with accounting department to assure prompt collection of assigned account receivables, and ultimately responsible for the collection of all funds.
  • Coordinate and communicate the customer’s needs to the proper department.
  • Provide backup as needed to other Account Managers during their absence.

Requirements:

  • Ability to act independently and make competent decisions without supervision.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Gmail, and Famous would be helpful.
  • Individual must be detail oriented and an effective communicator to others.
  • Motivated individual with a play to win approach to our business.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Available after hours.

This a full-time salaried role and you will be working out of our Orange Cove office.
