Fresh Directions Intl is located in Miami, Florida and imports fresh avocados from the Dominican Republic. For over 30 years, the Castillo family has been growing and packing delicious Hass and Tropical Avocado varieties. Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Provide support to sales & marketing
  • Reporting to Chief Administrative Officer
  • Execute marketing strategy
  • Work with sales & marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives
  • Support, Develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Perform market research
  • Create reports on sales & marketing performance
  • Brand ambassador duties
  • Light bookkeeping & expense management
  • Support Vendor and New Item Set Ups
  • Light errands and general office activities
  • Category Analytics
  • Build sales sheets and PowerPoint decks
  • Support Sales Call Activities, including preparing samples and presentation materials
  • Maintain schedules for sales & marketing initiatives
  • Assist with social media and website content
  • Organize and Attend trade shows and some industry related events
  • Organize and manage sales & marketing collateral
  • Manage and oversee Luv Local Sale servicing 75 independent local retailers, restaurant chain, foodservice, bulk retailers and food manufacturers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must speak fluent Spanish & English
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
  • Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong writing and copy-editing abilities
  • Some travel required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent education
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, business or a related field a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) is a plus
  • Digital photography and video editing experience a plus
