Green Rubber-Kennedy Ag is a highly respected, family owned, industrial products distribution sales company, located in Salinas, CA, with multiple branch locations throughout CA and AZ.
Green Rubber-Kennedy Ag was established in 1990 and is an industry leader in industrial products sales and distribution. We specialize in custom fabricated conveyor belting, custom cast urethane products, custom welded equipment, hose assembly and fluid transfer products, safety supplies, pumps, storage tanks and multiple products related to agricultural spray and fertilizer application. We offer a comprehensive and robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, among others.
We are looking for an experienced and talented person with experience and training in power transmission products sales (bearings, motors, gearboxes, and related products), to assist in growing our presence in this market. The ideal candidate is an experienced outside salesperson who is motivated, creative, detail oriented, and must be willing to learn and understand our company goals and culture.
Outside Sales:
- This position is an outside sales position. In-person sales calls to assigned accounts would be a must.
- Accountable for providing detailed call reports and information about customers and sales calls, to enhance sales effectiveness and growth.
- Train and share knowledge with other sales representatives within the company
Qualifications:
- Experience with direct outside sales calling, cold calling, medium to large industrial customers.
- Demonstrate consistent sales abilities by meeting objectives set by sales management
- Develop new business through prospecting and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect records and profiles in order to enhance sales and relationships with customers.
- Must be motivated to learn and increase product knowledge continually. Our product offering is extensive, and the ideal candidate is eager to learn independently, as well as attend formal training as needed.
- Computer literate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) speaker is desirable, but not a requirement
- Clean driving record.
Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year w/ Commission, negotiable depending on experience.
