Grown Up Fresh Produce Company is built on decades of trusted partnerships with farmers and customers across North America. Our roots go back to 1977, when Pacific Coast Fruit Company (now Pacific Coast Fresh Company) began as a family run distributor in the Pacific Northwest. Years later, Pacific Coast Trading Company launched as the company’s dedicated organic trading arm, specializing in sourcing and marketing certified organic produce. That business unit continued to grow, deepen its grower partnerships, and ultimately evolved into Grown Up Fresh, reflecting a more intentional, farmer first approach to sourcing, selling, and delivering fresh produce.

We’re looking for an experienced Produce Broker to join a collaborative, relationship-driven team. This role is best suited for someone who brings an established book of business and values trust, consistency, and long-term partnerships over quick wins. If you know the market, stand behind your word, and take pride in steady execution, you’ll fit right in.

Your Role:

  • Own and grow an active book of business with farmers and customers across the U.S., Canada, and global markets.
  • Source produce and drive smart sales growth with new and existing customers.
  • Partner with farmers on planning, procurement, and aligning supply with actual market needs.
  • Track and interpret market conditions (seasonality, pricing trends, supply dynamics) to advise customers and suppliers with confidence.
  • Establish contract pricing and terms with growers and customers, ensuring alignment with market conditions, program commitments, and long-term partnership goals.
  • Oversee the full transaction cycle: order entry, confirmations, documentation, fulfillment, and delivery, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Coordinate logistics and transportation so deliveries are reliable and predictable.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: share intel, align strategy, and elevate our brand’s presence.
  • Support onboarding of new farmers and products to expand the portfolio.
  • Uphold food safety and quality standards (FSMA, HACCP, GAP, etc.) every step of the way.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3+ years of produce brokerage/sales experience with a proven track record.
  • An active, transferable book of business built on lasting relationships.
  • Experience selling both conventional and organic produce.
  • Clear communicator with strong analytical instincts and negotiation skills.
  • Reliable, organized, self motivated, and a team player.
  • Comfortable coordinating logistics and transportation.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Produce Pro is a plus.
