Regional Sales Manager - West

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated geographic region, developing and maintaining key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for the Offshoot Brands portfolio by strategically managing distribution channels and maximizing market penetration within assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales Growth:
- Proven record of driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets in grocery retail channels
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including retailers, distributors, and food service accounts.
- Negotiate pricing and sales agreements with customers to maximize profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies for the region.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjustment as needed.
Brand Advocacy:
- Communicate Offshoot Brands’ brand messaging and product benefits to customers.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and sales processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven record of success in achieving sales targets in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape, including distribution channels and customer buying behaviors.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with frequent customer interaction.
- Experience managing promotional budgets, trade spending, and ROI analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Up to 50% of travel required for sales calls, company events, industry events and market visits.
Qualification:
- 3-4 years of experience in sales within fresh/perishable CPG, retail, wholesale, or foodservice.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business decision making.
- Strong understanding of brand management, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- An ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
