Dandrea Produce was established in 1917 as a local farming operation in Vineland, New Jersey. We have since evolved into a major grower-distributor business with over 150 employees. We are now a fourth generation family-owned company dedicated to the year-round supply of the highest quality produce.
We have an immediate opportunity for an Office Manager to join our team in Vineland, NJ.
We are seeking an experienced professional to assist in the daily operations of our produce company. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing, focused, self-motivated and trustworthy. The position requires a high level of computer skills at the domain level, proficient in Microsoft excel, great communication skills, math aptitude, HR back ground, and a proven track record in an office setting.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently and also support small teams and group environments. Excellent planning skills, effective problem solving, and critical thinking with a positive attitude toward overcoming challenges are all must haves. Multitasking and organization capabilities must include the ability to prioritize, learn quickly, adapt to new technology and be productive while working on myriad tasks.
They will also oversee team accounting team and have background in budget and expense management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. They will also be heavy involved Food Safety of the company.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background training and understanding of HACCP, SQF, FSMA and FSVP.
- Knowledge of GMP’s and GAP’s, writing action plans and performing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of IT systems, Windows 10, Server 2012, and Hyper V.
- Knowledge of Famous Software huge plus but not required.
- Experience working in produce, sanitation, or operations is helpful but not required.
