We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Gonzales, CA.

The Inside Sales Representative is a key position of Misionero’s business operations. As the Inside Sales Representative you are responsible for managing current accounts on a daily basis including overseeing accounts receivables.  You will work co-operatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers, create new customers and to meet company goals.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum AA Degree, BA Degree preferred.  Equivalent experience considered.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role preferably in the agriculture industry which includes produce sales and commodity management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with Expertise in Excel and Access
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of office equipment.
  • Able to multi-task and work effectively as a team member.
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Generate new and repeat sales.
  • Analyzes customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Evaluates production availability to properly recommend alternate products in order to up sale if possible,
  • Increase order size by means of cross selling, up-selling, add on sales and offering optional sales items.
  • Recommends strategies for increasing the company’s position in the market place.
  • Educate customers regarding product features and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows as required.
  • Oversees accounts receivable for customer base
  • Set up and maintain customer files and spreadsheets.
  • Occasional after hours’ phone calls and Saturday hours on a rotational schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.
