Job Description: 

We are an established Mexican grower, packer, shipper expanding into direct sales across the U.S. and Canada. With a vertically integrated supply chain and strong partnerships with Colombian growers, and a dynamic new eye catching brand we ensure year-round programs and premium quality fruit.

We are seeking a Sales & Account Manager who thrives in a fast-moving produce environment — someone who can move volume, build strong relationships with wholesalers and distributors, and execute sales programs that drive consistency and growth.

This is a hands-on sales role focused on daily deal flow, load movement, and customer satisfaction as we build our business with wholesale and retail customers. Experience in avocados, mangos, or tropical produce is preferred, and an existing customer base in wholesale and distribution channels will set you apart.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management & Sales Execution: Manage and grow existing accounts while developing new relationships in the wholesale and distributor segments.
     

  • Volume Movement: Sell and coordinate the shipment of produce, ensuring consistent flow and customer satisfaction.
     

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with buyers to ensure reliable supply, quality consistency, and responsive service.
     

  • Pricing & Negotiation: Execute competitive pricing strategies in line with market conditions to maintain margins and ensure timely movement of inventory.
     

  • Cross-Functional Coordination:  Work closely with operations, logistics, and supply teams in Mexico and Colombia to ensure on-time delivery and cold chain integrity.
     

  • Market Awareness:  Monitor category pricing, supply trends, and customer activity to help inform short-term sales tactics.
     

  • Reporting: Track and report weekly sales activity, pipeline, and customer feedback to management.
     

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales or account management experience in fresh produce, preferably avocados, mangos, or similar perishable categories.
     

  • Industry Network: Established relationships with produce wholesalers and distributors (retail exposure a plus).
     

  • Hands-On Approach: A doer who thrives on daily deal-making and relationship management, not just strategy.
     

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to maintain trust and loyalty among buyers.
     

  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Familiarity with cold chain logistics, transportation coordination, and quality management.
     

  • Languages: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
     

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
     

Compensation & Details

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000
     

  • Bonus: Up to 30% performance-based
     

  • Location: Remote (limited travel required)
