An established and admired family-owned apple grower/distributor in the northeast is looking for top sales talent to grow sales revenue, volume and develop new business. We have a high paced, multi facet business with ever changing circumstances and demands to satisfy customer needs.
The Apple Sales Representative will focus on maintaining and developing business with retail chain accounts, maintaining grower inventory and grower relations. This position entails a high level of responsibility, commitment and attention to detail.
The right candidate is highly-motivated, entrepreneurial and works well in a team environment, working closely with a small management team. They will be well spoken and written and comfortable with creating/maintaining relationships with existing and new buyers.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in produce
- Must be well spoken and well written and have exceptional work ethic
- A hands-on team player
- Able to anticipate changing requirements and priorities in a fast pace, high energy environment
- Able to work Saturday's and Holiday's
- A proven leader and motivator of people

- Seek out and develop new retail customers

- Travel as necessary to conventions, shows, and customer locations

- Constant communication with Shipping and Receiving manager. Follow through is key to this position.
