We need to fill this role in two locations, Nogales, AZ and Oakland, CA.

The Role: Salesperson / Broker
You'll be the crucial link between our global supply chain and our valued customers. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and building relationships to ensuring every delivery meets our high standards for freshness and quality.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and acquire new business, proactively prospecting for new clients to expand your portfolio and grow revenue.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing customers, acting as a trusted consultant for their produce needs.
  • Market Insight: Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing, and seasonal availability to provide clients with the best products at the most competitive rates.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with our logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and a consistent customer experience.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any customer inquiries or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Acumen: A solid track record in sales, preferably within the produce, food, or agriculture industry.
  • Networking Skills: Vendor experience, with existing connections with customers and the ability to develop and leverage a network of contacts to generate new business.
  • Self-Motivation: A results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for Produce: A genuine appreciation for and knowledge of fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

Compensation: 1099 or Salary plus commission
