We are now seeking a Produce Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team in Pharr, Texas and/or Nogales, Arizona.
Position Summary
This role is focused on sales leadership and business development. The successful candidate will manage key customer relationships while developing new distribution channels and launching new commodity programs. This individual will work closely with ownership and leadership to identify market opportunities, structure profitable programs, and drive long-term growth.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and brings strong fresh-produce knowledge along with a proven ability to grow both accounts and product lines.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand new distribution channels across retail, foodservice, and wholesale markets
- Identify, launch, and grow new commodity programs aligned with company strategy
- Manage and grow strategic customer accounts
- Prospect and onboard new customers and long-term partners
- Structure and manage season-long programs, bid pricing, and negotiated sales
- Drive consistent weekly gross profit and portfolio profitability
- Collaborate with growers, sourcing, operations, and logistics teams to execute programs successfully
- Travel as needed to support customer and business development efforts
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in fresh produce sales and business development
- Proven success opening new accounts, markets, or product categories
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree considered
- Strong commercial judgment with a focus on profitability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, inventory systems, and order management software
