As our FOB Produce Sales Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales success while making a positive impact on our community and the planet.
Here's how you'll make a difference:
- Craft and execute strategic sales initiatives: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop a winning strategy ensuring long-term sustainability and success for the company.
- Become a customer champion: Build strong relationships with retail buyers on a regional and national level, acquiring new accounts and ensuring their satisfaction through attentive onboarding and order fulfillment.
- Bridge the gap between sales and operations: Work closely with our passionate production team to optimize inventory management, forecast harvest based on sales projections, and guarantee deliveries meet exact specifications.
- Master the details: Be the go-to person for FOB transactions, manage customers and orders, collaborate on shipping and logistics, and utilize industry-standard software like iTrade and Famous.
- Lead by example: Share your knowledge and expertise, mentor colleagues, and foster a collaborative spirit within the team.
If you have:
- 3-5 years of proven success selling FOB produce to retail customers.
- A strong communication style and the ability to connect with diverse personalities
- A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving departmental and company goals
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google platform applications
- A desire to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to ethical business practices
- Citrus experience is preferred.
