General Summary
The QAFS Manager is responsible for leading and managing all quality assurance and food safety programs at the Oklahoma City manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, customer standards, and internal specifications while driving continuous improvement in product quality, food safety systems, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Required:

Our client is a mid-market company that provides fresh/refrigerated products to the food service industry. Due to current growth and future expansion, they are adding this newly created position to their food safety and quality department. Current or past "Produce" experience is required for this position. The new Food Safety Director will be based in Southeast Wisconsin and will manage a team within Food Safety, Quality and Sanitation.
The Food Safety Director is responsible for overseeing the QA team and FSQA team, delegating tasks, and reviewing the schedule, identifying and resolving quality issues with operations and working with management. Our recruit needs to be familiar with SQF, HACCP, GMPs and internal procedures of the area. He/she is responsible for overseeing Quality Assurance staff and maintaining Food Safety and Quality Assurance Management Systems to support manufacturing of wholesome and quality food.
