The Role
We are seeking a bilingual Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead inspection efforts at our Swedesboro location. In this role, you will help ensure that all arriving shipments meet our quality standards, that issues are identified and communicated quickly, and that accurate quality reporting supports strong decision-making across the business.You’ll oversee inspection scheduling, monitor inventory quality, identify product requiring immediate attention, and communicate timely quality updates to growers and internal teams. What You’ll Do
- Oversee Inventory & Quality Control: Monitor incoming and existing inventory, identify product requiring immediate attention, and help prioritize action on pallets with quality concerns, repack needs, or ageing risk.
- Lead the Front Line: Supervise, support, and coordinate the daily activities of Quality Inspectors, including arrival inspections, reprocessing, repacks, and routine inventory checks.
- Drive Timely Communication: Ensure quality reports are completed accurately and shared with growers and relevant internal teams within 24 hours of arrival or re-inspection.

What You Bring

Job Summary
This position will be working directly with the directors and senior managers of Love Beets and with the owners and senior managers of the grower business from whom we source our beets from. You will be working closely with all to develop and implement our sourcing strategy, leading by example and often having to be hands on to show, teach, lead, coach and mentor our growers as we develop their capabilities and improve the whole beet supply chain, seed to factory, to allow us to achieve our objectives. This role requires someone to be qualified and have +5 years’ growing experience, including organic growing experience and a strong grasp of farm management and farm supply chain practices and procedures, as this role will be providing the specialist farming and growing knowledge and expertise to the business.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Produce growing programs for each individual grower, planning out planting dates, harvest dates, yield targets, size targets and acres to be grown. You will have responsibility in determining volumes to be grown by each grower.
- Put together annual budget costs for the sourcing of beets from each individual grower and supply chain for getting the beets to the factory. Ensuring the plan is cost effective and balanced against risk management.
- Record/collect and analyze the results as they occur, so we can have a positive review at the end of the season and also able to make any changes to plan/budget that you are responsible for.
- Monitor beet quality in store post-harvest and work with the supply chain team to plan out their usage, according to needs and quality of the stored crop, so all is used minimizing in store losses.
- Put together a trials and product development plan with the growers and the factory for the season and take a lead in making sure the trials are carried out and data recorded. This includes varietal development and working with seed houses on this, but also fertility, weed control and other growing and harvesting techniques to ensure we are continuously improving.
- With senior management at Love Beets and the growers, develop short-, medium- and longer-term growing strategies. That allows everyone to be successful over the long term.
- Develop a best practice guide for the growers, that can be shared with all growers and help new growers to develop quickly.
- Work closely with the growers to help them implement and where necessary take action to ensure we are implementing the agreed strategy and timelines for that implementation. Developing a rolling 5-year strategic sourcing plan.
- To visit all growers across North America, and to search and find new growers (Conventional and Organic) to meet the supply chain demands and risk management of Love Beets as the business grows year on year. Develop a strong understanding of the North American beet grower base and regions.
- Expecting to walk the fields with the growers to help monitor and understand what actions need to be taken to improve growing.
- To be assisting growers where required by being onsite at key stages of the growing cycle, (land prep, planting, growing, harvesting) to help them get these key timings right.
- Work with Growers to plan out harvesting capacity by grower, during harvest to reduce bottle necks and other harvest and post-harvest related issues.
- To present quarterly updates to the group board on grower and supply chain of beet performance against targets.
- Working with Cornell University and other institutions to continue to progress R&D into all aspects affecting beet growing and storage.
- Benchmarking and sharing information across the G’s Group of Beets growers.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field, with knowledge of organic growing
- At least 5 years of arable/vegetable crop production
- Organic growing and/or Organic growing college or degree qualification.
- Equivalent of UK BASIS or FACTS qualification in crop production/ agronomy.

Position Summary
The Repack Supervisor manages the allocation of packaging materials and ensures data accuracy in production systems. Conducts end-of-day checks in Famous, monitors production overages, and verifies pack-out percentages to maintain quality. Oversees inventory assignment using FIFO, confirms proper warehouse placement of repacked pallets, and communicates with Production and Warehouse Managers about missing inventory. Ensures quotas are met daily, coordinates with Sales and Production teams for scheduling, and upholds strict compliance with FDA/USDA regulations and GMPs. Oversees production data entry, label staging, and traceability audits while fostering continuous improvement and workplace safety. Adjusts work hours during peak seasons and provides cross-functional support as needed.

JOB SUMMARY: The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for assisting the Northern Farming Area Director in maintaining the irrigation systems, training and supervising personal to perform routine irrigation maintenance, maintaining fertilizer and pH control systems, servicing the automated irrigation hardware, routinely checking and monitoring wells, and preforming distribution uniformity tests on the irrigation systems. The area covers citrus, kiwi, pistachio and walnut acreage within the Northern Farming Enterprise that spans an area: Marysville, Reedley, Ivanhoe, Farmersville and Ducor.
Reporting Relationship: The Irrigation Technician will directly report to and work under the supervision and direction of the Northern Area Farming Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing routine, block level, inspections of irrigation systems on 8400 acres several times a year and report required maintenance through App;
- Performing routine, ranch level, inspections of irrigation systems on 8400 acres several times a year and report required maintenance through App;
- Training & monitoring routine irrigation system flushing;
- Train & monitoring routine digging and soil probing;
- Training, monitoring, and performing distribution uniformity testing on each block every 3 years. (150blks/year);

- Check and report acid, sulfur, fertilizer tank levels;

Under the direction of Bengard Ranch we are currently seeking for a experienced Tractor Foreman sought to lead and coordinate daily agricultural operations, ensuring efficient use of tractors, implements, and field crews. - Collect and review weekly timecards to ensure they are accurate and correct, distribute weekly payroll.
- Follow ground prep guidelines backed with field observations to determine the most cost-effective approach to working the ground. Track number of passes and speed of operations to maintain low costs and high productivity.
- Monitor soil moisture level of fields to determine the correct timing of entry and the intensity at which the soil can be worked.

Description:
As a member of our Buying team, this position is responsible for identifying and procuring conventional and organic products for our Retail, Wholesale, and Food Service customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about sourcing the best products available, creating mutually beneficial relationships with growers, vendors and working with customers collaboratively (internally and externally) to create the highest quality and value.
This position is not a remote position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Communicate and direct sales team on produce categories.
- Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers on pricing, product assortment, promotions, ads, services, and support; acts as primary contact with direct suppliers.
- Continually identify and determine optimum source of supply to ensure best cost and highest quality products and service.
- Select and order commodities from growers and purchase commodities on open market basing selection on nature of clientele, or demand for specific commodity utilizing knowledge of various articles of commerce and experience as buyer
- Check and inspect quality of incoming products specific to each individual buyer.
- Participate in daily warehouse walks to inspect and grade or appraise agricultural and other commodities offered for sale to determine value and yield
- Manage inventory count sheets to assure accuracy; manage weekly availability guides to facilitate store ordering
- Manage inventory, shrink and service levels to meet or exceed company expectations
- Establish, maintain and manage relationships with suppliers
- Communicate effectively and routinely with sales, warehousing, and transportation departments
- Monitor, manage and report business trends in the industry and maintain awareness of market trends, food safety, technology, and weather across all growing regions
- Conduct sales and profit analyses; maintain and review price files and competitive price checks
- Proactively seek out and communicate new and innovative items to customers
- Must be able to travel occasionally (seasonal travel)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times
- 3-5+ years of produce (mixed items) experience. Knowledge of organic items and processed items
- Knowledge of USDA standards
- Strong communication and relationship building skills as well as the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to effectively negotiate and build strong partnerships with vendors
- Ability to adapt to the ever-changing high volume while working in a cross-functional team environment
- Solid proficiency in MS Office products with an emphasis in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills is essential
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and accomplish individual and team goals to provide the highest quality and Service.
