Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated Packhouse Supervisor to come join the Maroa Farms, Inc. team at our state of the art facility in Coldwater, Michigan.
Compensation/Salary:
$14 per Hour

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Working alongside packhouse employees to supervise and motivate
- Conduct time studies
- Completing daily reports relating to production, performance and food safety
- Learning and enforcing all product specs and food safety protocols in the packhouse
- Ensuring strict adherence to all food safety protocols on a daily basis for cleaning production lines
- Assist with completions of all forms (disciplinary action, incident forms etc.)
- Report any employee problems to the Packhouse Manager
- Report any mechanical issues on a daily basis to the Packhouse Manager
- Learn and understand routine maintenance on the advanced production lines to minimize setup and down time.
- Make labels as needed and instructed by the Packhouse Manager
- Conduct quality and traceability audits on completed production items
- Be in contact with shipping/receiving administrator concerning packaging inventory, daily packaging requirements and supplies.
- Communication with shipping/receiving administrator concerning outbound product (packaging or quality issues)
- Supervise the packhouse independently in the absence of the packhouse manager
Working Conditions:
- Position requires sitting, standing, and walking on a regular basis for prolonged periods
- Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills, and operate equipment
- Continuous interaction with various departments and colleagues
- Ability to make changes as needed without advance notice
- Working in refrigerated warehouse for prolonged periods
Education:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
